Invader Zim - Through the Fangirl's Twisted Mind
*PLZNOTE* This is not the canon IZ we all know and love.  This is what IZ would be like if the fangirls designed it.  So please don't complain.  Jhonen Vasquez, in the unlikely event you are reading this, please don't, as we don't want you to have a stroke.
Chapter One: Over the Radio
Dib's radio was picking up an odd signal.  He turned the knob a little to the left.  A little to the right.  There was a short whine, and the sound came through clear.  "Your turn, Zim," said an odd voice - it was high and low at the same time.  "You've been assigned to...Earth.  One more thing, Zim.  This is NOT a regular conquer mission...it's a-" The signal faded out.  Dib's eyes widened.  This wasn't what he thought it was, was it?  It had to be.  Dib packed up his radio as quickly as possible and slid off the roof, bursting through the back door and dashing into the kitchen.
"DAD!  GAZ!  Something horrible is happening, the aliens are coming!  For real!  THEY'RE COMING!!!!"  Dib's father kept cooking as if he hadn't heard.  Gaz seemed even more annoyed than usual.
"This, again?  Dib, what is it with you and aliens?  They aren't real!" Gaz practically fumed.  Dib knew this wasn't a point worth arguing.  As he sulked into his room, he thought, "It doesn't matter whether they believe or not.  I guess I'll have to save Earth from the aliens."
